As I was looking for a newer car someone suggested I look on Gumtree, a site I've never visited before.

Most of the ads seemed to be written in very poor english, and/or have "leaving country quick sale needed" or even more suspicious "phone XXX our land line is under some maintenance" or full of other dodgy sounding phrases or descriptions "is an import much spec"

I didn't see one I would be comfortable replying to/going to view/buy..... but then I am quite a cautious buyer.
