Sourcing repossessed cars

Sourcing repossessed cars - isxrc

I just found this forum and thought the posters seemed to have good knowledge on motoring.

I wanted to know if readers had any idea where I could buy repossessed cars besides auctions. I have bought a few via auction but is there a way to source the vehicles before they reach the auction and get them at an even cheaper price?

I found a site called East Coast Salvage but they only seem to have a few cars (not sure they are repossessed) and have put together a list on Repossessed Cars but really wanted to know if there were more places i could start looking so i can share the information to others as well as picking up a few bargains myself.

People in the know generally don't give their secrets away for nowt in order to keep carpetbaggers out. There's no free shortcut to getting a car for less than it's market value.
