hello all helpful people, i am having a nighmare with our car. i recently bought a golf 1.8 petrol for my girlfriend as she passed her test, was spluttering a bit so i changed all filters and distributer cap and rotor arm. then her dad got involved and noticed carb mount flange was split, so we changed it. however since he did this it wont start! have spoke to a mechanic friend of a friend and he boiled it down to the injector cos it fires up wen petrol dropped in carb.fuel pump and flow fine but injector not firing. so i replaced it, still nothing. he then told me that the injector has no power going to it. can anyone tell me if this is just a fuse or relay or is it more of a problem. thanks
