After a few posts here re the above car. I have been waiting for an assessor to look at my car and at last he arrived to do this!

I called the workshop a short while ago and apparently the head is cracked and has been sent to wherever to be sorted one way or another.

I know for a fact that my warranty will cover £600.00 but I am sure that any repairs done will be above this figure.

So I am hoping the salesman will do the right thing and the dealership will pay any extra costs.

From your previous thread on this car, your engine lost coolant & overheated.

I wouldn't therefore rely on your warranty cover paying out anything & as for dealership,

forget it.

Yes, loss of fluid due to the water hose not being connected correctly and probably not even checked on full service before purchase. Unless of course,the fluid came from somewhere else rather than the radiator :)

Malfunction of temperature gauge, therefore no warning of overheating.
