Toyota Carina E 1.8 1997 - Toyota Carina E exhaust - carged
Struggling to find exhaust for Toyota Carina E 1.8 1997 (7A-FE ENGINE)
Is there any other exhaust that would be compatable ?
Where do back street garages source their parts from ?

Only done 54k since I bought it new, so generally in good nick despite age . Trying to do jobs myself as car is old and not worth paying garage for work.

The exhaust suppliers is Timax, Bosal, Walker, These are the main ones don't bother with local motor factors go were the trade buy them.

Up here in wet west yorks Andrew page, Partco etc, look on google for exhaust specialist companies in your area.

These cars were used as taxis so spares will be common.

Cheers for the link bigtee - now I just have to identify if my exhaust is the type fitted up to 01/96 or 11/97. Wish they'd make it easy to identify from chassis number or reg.

Ah well, back on the ramps it goes and more scrabbling under it for me!
