Some help if anyone has heard of this one before please.

We have recently purchased a VW Golf Plus. We have returned it to Listers a few times with a very odd wind / siren type noise that specifically seems to kick in at around 44 mph. Once you get a little over or under this speed it starts to fade away.

They have just replaced the turbo as well as other things such as wheel bearings fly wheel and clutch.

But it has not stopped. Interestingly enough the noise will still be there whether or not you are in gear and driving or even out of gear and just coasting.
