hi my esp light came on last week vw said to take to vw dealer this i did fault was found to be ABS hydraulic unit cost £1023 asked about their goodwill waited a couple of days got a call from vw dealer to say i could have repair done for £92 this week my service book was checked to make sure it was last serviced by a VW dealer i was told had it not been i would not have got good will so good luck to all ESP lights on people i am glad to have checked this web page of honest john thanks mcmacc

I agree with your point, although this is a very common problem with the mkV Golf and Touran, which I believe VAG are well aware of. I also believe the replacement units have a modification to ensure this doesn't reoccur.

Just type 'Golf ESP light' into your favourite search engine.

hi just to let you know I had my esp light repaired under the WV good will, total cost £92 8pence well pleased my car is 06plate honest john really helped
