Manchester Evening news.....today...you heard it here first !!
Two enterprising lads, Ali Abdullah and Muqtar Nuren have set up a little business not far from Ted Towers.
The scheme was that they would impersonate people who had a test booked, on a ' no pass, no fee ' basis.
In all, they sat a total of 43 fraudulent driving tests for their customers ! It turned out not to be such a profitable business as they had hoped.........They failed 33...yes, 33 !!.
Defending brief said ' It's surprising that anybody wanted to use these defendants. '
Second conviction for Abdullah, 3 years this time. Nuren landed a year. Several of their punters arrested and cautioned.
Hope they've got a Highway Code in the prison library at Strangeways !

I haven't looked on DVLA numbers for sale but wouldn't DRA 1N be a better bet for him ?

They have known about this for ages, some people were arrested for it a few years back after examiner at Whalley Range realised what was going on.
There is so many ramdon and varients in a driving test I sometimes wonder if an examiner would pass if they had to retake it!
