TOAD A50 CAR ALARM - needhelp
Hi again
Hope someone can help me here I have just purchased a TOAD A50 car alarm from online auction and hope that someone can help me with a wiring diagram for it.

It has all the bits and connectors and can tell where the ultra sonics go and the power for the alarm but thats about it any help would be greatly appreciated

I bought a Toad keyless immobiliser from an internet store. It didn't come with installation instructions.

I rang the supplier, and a helpful Geordie told me what the colours meant, and promised he'd send me an installer manual, which he had been told would be included. Of course, it never arrived. I soldered the immobiliser in place quite happily though, and my insurers accepted the installation certificate that I filled in myself with the supplier's details.

Don't use scotchlocks to put an alarm in. An insurer will know you've done it yourself. Solder the connections, wrap in black insulation tape, and hide in the wiring loom.

Understandably, only 'approved installers' are issued with instructions, for 'security' reasons.

My Toad immobiliser colours, if any help, were

Yellow - Driver's door switch

Red - Positive supply

Orange - Ignition sense

Green x 2 - Ground wires

White x 2 - Fuel pump circuit

Blue x 2 - Starter immobilisation

Don't forget to take the coloured sleeves off when you've finished and tested it. Have fun.
