I have heard for several years now that Renault plan to launch the Dacia Logan in the UK at some stage, but never been able to pin down a date.
I'm very interested in getting one of the 7-seat estate models which are now available on the continent, but despite extensive googling I can't find any information as to whether this model will ever come to the UK.
If anyone on this forum knows the answer I'd be very grateful as I'm currently considering getting a Citroen Berlingo, but would rather wait for a the 7 seat Logan if it's going to be marketed here.

I think the plan is now for the UK to get the Sandero next year. I would have thought the Fiat Doblo would be the nearest if you need the 7 seats.

Good call on the Doblo, had forgotten that one. Will investigate cost v Berlingo, the old model is very good value brand new now.
The 7 seats is a "like to have", not essential as we've get a Touran already and I am looking for a 2nd car.

Blinkin' flip! Think I'd better give up on the idea.
I'm half tempted to go to France and get a Logan 7 seater in LHD format. They're such fantastic value for money I think I could live with the wheel being on the wrong side (I've had a left hooker before and it's not a problem really, if anything joining motorways is a bit easier!).
But I will certainly look into the Doblo now you've mentioned it.

Here in Germany the base model sandero starts at 7500 euro !! but if you want anything in it the extras soon add up!
The logan mpv with 7 seats costs 10800 euros (must have the 1.6 motor or the diesel)
but the 1.4 can be had for 8400 in its lowest spec. I must say that you do see a few of them on the road over here.

7000 pounds for a brand new 7 seater is a bit of a bargain in anyone's book. If only we could get them in the UK they'd sell like hotcakes.
