The car-by-car-breakdown section mentions the following problem with the K series engine
'inlet manifold 'O' rings tend to perish between 25 - 30,000 miles'.
I have seen this comment on the Parkers web site also.
Can anyone confirm where these 'O' rings live... I was under the impression that a gasket sits between the manifold and head gasket and I cant figure out which 'O' rings are being refered to...
Any ideas?

This isn't really a reply as much as more questions...
What are the symptoms of these o-rings having perished? My car is really lumpy when on choke and holds its revs between gearchanges, are these symptoms of perished inlet o-rings??
Richy-F, if you have found out any info could you please let me know...
Thanks,
