99 1.0 Fitting steering column - wood1bikes
Have a 1.0 litre corsa with the common problem of light steering to the left.
bought a steering coloum with new motor that is supposed to be ok!.How do you fit the coloum as loosened it all but can't get it out dash frame?.

there is only three bolts holding these in place two faceing towards dash one faceing bulkhead other than a few cables straight forward, is it loose or still connected ish

Hi
drilled the sheare bolt out and undone nut and 2x bolts.Releast steering uj and disconnected steering wheel and all switches and cables.
Its loose but doesn't want to come out past dash inner frame down towards pedals or out through steering wheel dash hole?. Its a 1.2 typed it wrong 1999 on a 'T'

you will have to remove the dashpanel before the steering column
