Any idea what % increase I can expect on 2.0TDI. Clean licence, 5 years no-claims and I'm an old git?

Depends on the Ins Co - some might be 10-20% others will refuse to insure you.

Simplest plan - ask them b4 you install the chip.

If your renewal is soon try a broker such as Adrian Flux - they specialise in "odd cars and odd drivers" - your run of the mill Direct insurer will probably run a mile.
