Rover 400 (1995 - 1999) - Brake judder

Brake judder - scud1
I recently had the car serviced which included changing the front pads and discs. Since then, I have been experiencing brake judder when coming to a slow halt (in queues/junctions etc) but not at any other times. The garage replaced the discs and pads for a second time but the problem persists. Anyone got any ideas what is causing this and how to sort it?

Has it got abs?

Check the abs reluctor rings on the cv joint, they may have disturbed them, it is a common problem for these to crack.
