I bought a can of Wyns intake cleaner, after taking off the hose from air filter to throttle body and finding all sorts of varnish and gunk on the throttle housing and butterfly.
Would there be any risk in damaging the sensors if spraying it in whilst engine running?
I know some cars have those hot wire type sensors (forgot technical name) and they can be ruined.
BTW it's a 2002 1.6 Astra 8 valve so not that hi tech but multiple fuel injection model.
Thanks.
{additional details added to header for future forum searches. Also presume you meant carb cleaner and not car cleaner?}
