eBay seller - stolen/recovered but unrecorded - Bill Payer
Perhaps I'm missing something here, but an eBay seller is offering cars in various states of write-off, but in addition has some that are stolen / recovered, but unrecorded.

How would it be known that the vehicle had been stolen / recovered, and what's in it for the seller to admit this if it's unrecorded?

Don't know the answer but I like the bit that says "please do not email us as we are too busy to reply" !

This is fairly common. Not recorded probably because its come from one of the self-insure fleets. Locks gone, cowling broken etc means its been stolen.

That Y plate Merc looks a bit of a bargain even with its history.
