"Converting" insurance group into £cost - GroovyMucker
Someone mentioned the ABI website and the new insurance groups.

Is there any quick way of converting the insurance group into a cost in our good strong British pounds? Maybe a table somewhere which shows the cost of each group?

I doubt it's a simple table - it's probably a multi-dimensional matrix covering group, location, value, age of driver, annual mileage, driving record etc, etc.

The ABI grouping is only a recommendation for the insurance companies - they decide which sort of driver they want to attract or avoid.

too many variables:

age, job, postcode, sex, etc.

I guess if you compared for a 30-year old male with full NCB and insurance
