Peugeot slack/broken Timing Belts - robo
Hi All,
Does anyone definitely know whether the Peugeot 1.9 diesel as fitted to the '96/7/8 Expert van and many others is "interference" ( i.e. valves/pistons), engine and if so what level of damage is likely to ensue following a jumping/broken timing belt. Thanks
Robo

Bent valves, hole in piston, failed con rod, cracked head, why do you ask, is the belt loose or is it way past the change date and you do not want to do it. I could fail tomorrow. Regards Peter
