Can anyone tell me where I'd be able to get insurance cover for a short term period - possibly 20 days. My annual policy ends at the end of this month, but I'm getting a company car starting from mid-August, so won't need my car anymore. I don't want to be charged astronomical charges for cancelling my annual policy after a couple of weeks - is there anywhere that offers short period cover?

Hi - try ecarinsurance.Be sure to select their monthly pay as you go policy and NOT the annual one paid by monthly instalments.

Most compannies will extend a policy on a pro rata basis. Regards Peter

Try www.insuredaily.co.uk. They do cover for vans as well. Funky site and you can print your cover note after you pay by credit card.
