carpark bump - advice?

carpark bump - advice? - andy76
Managed to bump into a car earlier today in my local supermarket carpark.
Scuffed my bumper low down and think I probably hit the other cars wheel (it was a 4x4).
Tried to locate the owner but was unable to do so.

Anything else I could have done?
I don't think I did any damage to other car from what I could see...

Put a postit note or similar under the wipers. i had well over 600 of damadge done to my vehicle after somone reversed into me and scarperd in a tescos carpark.

Ring up the local bill and report it. Get an incident number. Just in case the other party reports it as a 'non stop'.

I had to have a new front wing and a door skin ~ it came to a lot more than 600. If ever I found out the culprit ........

Reluctant to leave note in case details get into the wrong hands.
