Warranties and anti-corrosion - mfarrow
Hi

1 - If I bought a car new (heaven forbid!) and get it serviced, as you can do these days, by a VAT registered garage, do I maintain the anti-corrosion warranty that came with the car if the garage check and top-up paintwork and underseal as per the manufacturers instructions?

2 - If my car is then involved in an accident, and I got it repaired (a new front offside wing, say) by the same non-dealer VAT registered garage, would the anti-corrosion warranty still apply to that panel? Personally I would hope not, but I have a friend who thinks it would :-)
