I have a 53reg Kangoo 1.5 dci fco7 engine 30k miles when pulling away from standstill on a steep incline it sends a vibration / judder through the vehicle whether in 1st gear or reverse. The problem seems worse when engine warm. vehicle drives well otherwise. Have taken it to renault dealer and no faults could be found on computer, and they were unable to replicate fault as there was not a steep enough incline in the area. Any thoughts would be appriciated.

Dont know the Kangoo, but it could be anything from distorted/contaminated clutch assy to broken engine/gearbox mounting

If it were the clutch would there be any symptoms when driving and changing gear because its as sweet as.?

While driving you would not notice any problems, only when pulling away.and depending on severety of problem may only, as you have found only affect on hill start. But think the problem will get worse, they rarely improve...But a computer check is no good, either a stripdown of clutch assembly drastic at the moment, untill mountings are proved to be perfectly ok.
