What\'s for you won\'t pass you by

One of my neighbours started a mobile service supplying and fitting a couple of years ago. I got two fronts replaced at a very competitive price, and of course very conveniently too.
Like greenhay I also find tyre fitting bays dirty and depressing places, but unfortunately there wasn't enough work in a rural area for this guy so he has since packed up.

Their testimonials seem to be frequent and very complimentary. I'll give them a try next time I need tyres.

Espada III - well if you have a family and need a Lamborghini, what else do you drive?

I've just had a look on their site, as I'm due tyres very soon. Unfortunatly neither my work or home address are covered yet by the company.
Kwik Fit it is then.....ho hum.

If you telephone various places and ask for a price, you may be quite surprised at the difference. When you've got a couple or three prices, if you then telephone and say "Thank you for your quote, I have had a lower price elsewhere, can you meet or better it?" you *will* be surprised. Don't say what the best price you've had is, though, unless they can't meet it!
Make sure that you get prices on the *same brand and size* of tyre from each place, *including fitting, valve, balancing, disposal of old tyre*.
In my experience Kwik-Fit are not usually the cheapest I can find.

It seems so - I had a couple of Dunlop SP9000s fitted on my drive and they seem fine (although the truth may out when I get to Germany in the summer with the higher speeds....). I wouldn't hesitate to have them done this way again.
