fiesta mk4 imobliser problem help! - jimbo38

Morning,

My car is just started giving me problems 1.8 diesel mk4 fiesta, when i turn the key the light for the imobliser doesn't light up any more then in flashes all the time when i turn the key to start the car but there is no starter motor any idears? i think it's a key code problem but i was not given a spar or red key?
