Took the Octavia in to the new local main dealer yesterday for a lambda probe change (VW 2.0 8V as noted by HJ in the DT). They have three franchises. Skoda, Hyundai and??????????Lotus!!
So I stood there waiting for my keys and the diagnostics on the failed VW climatronic system. The guy behind me had just been for a test drive in a Trajet while the bloke next to me was discussing the suspension on his Elise. Surreal.

There used to be a Renault Dealership in Leicester by the name of Mann Egerton, that also sold - Rolls Royce!

My local Saab franchise is now also a Harley-Davidson dealer...

Now that makes perfect business sense. Wealthy middle aged Saab drivers going all dewey eyed with "middle aged born again biker" syndrome?

Edward would that be a bristol dealer by any chance
if so they have been a lotus dealer for quite a while but not so long for skoda or hyundia. i believe they used to also deal with some other "obscure" makes like kia or proton or something similar

Marshall's in Cambridge have 11 brands on one site, and their sister companies will probably fix your armoured car and private jet too.

Here in Frome the Vauxhall dealer was, for a short time, a Ford dealer too. It was much heralded at the time (a few years ago)as the only dealership in the country combining Vauxhall and Ford franchises.

In telford what had been the toyota dealer for many years lost the franchise and became an alfa and daewoo dealer - bit of a strange combination.
6 months later it closed totally.
