Hi all,
I have a 2000 V plate 306 hdi estate that is starting to make a whining noise at as I drive. Basically as I progresivly increase speed the whining noise gets faster and faster. I have depressed the clutch to see if it could be the engine, its not.
I'm thinking wheel bearing..?
I any Idea's ?

how loud and can you tell where it is coming from?
Also does it do it as soon as you move or start at certain speeds? does it correspond with RPM or MPH as well??

Wheel bearing failure on a 306 is rare.
