Good evening all,
Daughters test soon. Wants to postpone for her own reasons. Can't get through to the wonderful efficient people at the DSA due to, "take this option," etc etc etc. Any other routes available?
Regards as ever.

Probably a naive response but, do they publish a fax number or email address? (local or national)

Hi Frosty,
SWMBO (O) has tried the 'phone numerous times to go through the option route, (oh! how I want to swear), press this button etc etc. only to be cut off. I can't confirm, but I think that to cancel you have to 'phone. For now I will persevere, but I is getting tetchy. (Pass me a glass (full) please.)
Regards.

Contact The Motor Schools Association on 0161-442 2576 and explain the situation to them. They are well aware of the awful service provided by the DSA and I have no doubt they will sort it on your behalf. They will also make sure your daughter does not loose her fee should you be unable to cancel before the deadline through no fault of your own.

Thanks Tom. Have printed this out and senior management will hopefully sort it today. I'll let you know.
Kind Regards. Martin.

Can't believe it. It is cancelled. Eventually, (after I chose the correct options 3rd time around), I spoke to a rather disinterested lady who asked me for some info namely Daughter's theory pass number. Didn't have that to hand so send Daughter to find, took 4-5 minutes. Just before coming up with the goods the lady said that the reference number on the test confirmation letter would do! I was seething by now. You would think that in this day and age.............. No stop it Martin, don't go on. It is difficult to believe that not so many decades ago we ran 2/3 of the discovered world. Now those 2/3 are over here getting their own back and we can't organise a 'do' in a brewery. Got to go to work now. Dear Mr. Brown needs the revenue so that he can give it to the needy!!!!
Regards to all. M.
