Yep, literally just watched a video about that, essentially a glow plug failure can and does lead to a dpf fault.
It's funny that none of the many vids and comments I've seen elsewhere have posed the question about a faulty glow plug.
Which is a surprise given the huge amount of people who've reported DPF faults in Hyundai's and Kia's. Wonder how many actually only needed new glow plugs ?.
Update:
The Glow plugs were changed and the fault code cleared, 14 miles later the injector light came on, and shortly afterwards so did the EML.
So I've tried all manner of cleaners, replaced the glowplugs and still have a dpf issue, I've heard of deep cleaning and forced regeneration etc, so realistically what's the best way of clearing the problem ?. The one question that no one's been able to answer is why does the injector light come on at the 14-15 mile point (turn it off before that, say 10 miles and then restart and it'll come on 14-15 miles later, so effectively if you keep turning the car off every 13 miles the light won't come on ?.
