While my car is being assessed...could be write off...by a considerable piece of furtune I have an S class as a courtesy car and thought I'd share the experience. The handling is brilliant and you feel no bumps, the switchgear is all beautifully placed and it cruises so smoothly from the comfort of the driver's armchair. The sat nav is like a little TV and the 350 diesel engine is for huge car very frugal. whe you close the doors there is a satisfying clunk and the boot is huge. It would take a long time to know what all the command functions are and to use the paddles. However basic driving is a doddle and you don't feel to be taking up the whole road. Sadly for me the courtesy car company will soon collect their S class and give me the more usual hatchback. Still having the car for for Father's day was was excellent.
