Hello,

Just looking for some advice over a 2007 Corsa Diesel. It has developed a squeak over the past few weeks. Generally loudest when idle and speeds up, usually disappearing as it gets faster.

I took it into the garage today, expecting the auxiliary belt or pulley (or soemthing like that) needs replacing. But they've come back saying the injector seals are gone.

They have also warned that these can sometimes become difficult to remove and they might have to call in a specialist and that might be pricey.

So just wanted to check if anyone had experienced this, whether the injector seals explain the squeaking, and how difficult they are to replace (i.e. are they just warning me to cover themselves in the unlikely event that they are stuck, or is that a common problem).
