Suzuki Splash 1.2 2009 - Front Offside Speaker needs Replacing - JJBUG

I have just bought the Suzuki and the front speaker does not work, so i have looked at buying a replacement only to see most speakers being sold with an adaptor kit.

My question is firstly does the kit fit inside the door card, as the speaker cover is moulded into the card and does not come off, or do you have to cut the door card to fit.

First off, are you absolutely certain that the speaker is dead, and it isn't just a damaged wire or bad connection ?

If it is proved that the speaker is at fault,it would probably be easier to get a direct replacement from Suzuki.It will then be an exact fit,without any mods.

I have not taken the door card off yet so no i`m not sure its the speaker, just trying to get an idea what my options are if it is.
