I own a 2003 Vauxhall Zafira 2.0dti Elegance and I just cant seem to get rid of this black smoke and its really driving me mad now, everything I do just seems to have no effect what so ever!! I paid £185 for a brand new Wahler electronic EGR valve - no effect! I then replaced the EGR control solenoid, £24 - no effect! I have now replaced the Maf sensor for a new Bosch item, £70 - no effect! Its really starting to do my head in now, the expense it is costing me you can tell the missus isn't too happy! I get the dreaded eml light come on for about 20 seconds and then goes out and when I connect to op-com the only code I get is p0400-5 EGR valve insufficient flow, but I cant seem to cure it! It's getting to the point now where I am seriously thinking of getting shut of my bus now because its embarrassing driving it with plumes of black smoke bellowing out the back! Any help would be great! Neil
