daihatsu fourtrack - appealing against a catagory B - michelle-bevan

My Fourtrack was stolen/recovered last week. my insurance company have given it a catagory B for a broken side window and a damage ignition barrel and say i can not have my car back. is there any help you can give me, to appeal against the catagory B and any advise on getting my car back.

Cat B on damage to the ignition barrel? Surely there must be more than that.

Just a broken window and ignition barrel?

So who has paid for the recovery and storage, the insurance assesors inspection and time, and all the admin involved with the claim to date?.....And all this is before we have even considered the cost to source and replace the damaged parts.

I guess you could always say to them....... forget about paying out, I will withdraw the claim, just give me the car back as is and I will settle all your costs to date......BUT I suggest you are sitting down when they tell you what the figure is.
