Kia Carens 2008 2 l diesel automatic - Rear parking sensors - Clammer1952

Can any body help? I have just bought a 2008 diesel auto<*** id="itxthook1icon" class="itxtrst itxtrstimg itxthookicon" style="left: auto; right: auto; top: auto; bottom: auto; background-color: transparent; position: static; white-space: normal; max-height: none; border-width: 0px !important; vertical-align: baseline !important; float: none !important; padding: 0px 0px 0px 4px !important; margin: 0px !important; display: inline !important; max-width: none !important; height: auto !important; width: auto !important;" src="http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png" alt="" /> which has factory fitted rear parking sensors. when they are on the noise is incredibly loud and piercing. Is there a way to either tone it down or switch them off. Thanks
