Chrysler Voyager 2007 2.8 CRD AUTOMATIC - Diesel Engine Cuting out when Power is applied - mazda60

Hi All,

My daughter bought a chrysler voyager about three weeks ago but over the easter break has been consious that as soon as she requires power and puts her foot down the engine cuts out. It restarts ok and runs ok she says under light throttle.

I know nothing about diesel engines, so can anyone give me any advice as to the possible problem (s) and what to look at..

I know the thred is old but I have one of these and so dies a work colleague. He had the problem your daughter has/had it turn out to be a crack in the fuel filter.

I am experiencing this fault on My 2008 Chrysler Voyager

Just checked on DVLA website, there seems to be RECALL out for this fault.
