Volkswagen Scirocco 1.4 TSi 160 - Throttle Body - Beardo
My 59 plate Scirocco went into limp mode while driving a couple of weeks back. On diagnosis the throttle body needs replaced. After going into the garage and getting parts that end with the letter a, b and d none have been the right size. The bore diameter of the one currently in the car is 60mm but the depth is 72mm yet every one they’ve received from a supplier has had a depth of 85. Any help on how to source the right one?

Surely if you contact Vw parts department and quote the reg and Vin number, you will be supplied with the correct part. The replacement part may have been updated, so the part # may be different.
