Should I buy a bi-fuel car?
I'm wondering if it would be worth my while buying a new Bi Fuel vehicle. I have a LPG garage 3 miles from me, but will it still be there considering the UK has promised to drop all ICE by 2030?.
The current guidance from the government is that the sale of new petrol and diesel cars will cease by 2035, but this does not affect the supply of fuels for the millions of vehicles still on the UK's roads that use petrol, diesel and LPG. It is possible that the tax on vehicles that use these fuels will increase in the coming years, but it will still be possible to run and fuel these vehicles beyond 2035.

What cars have the best ride?
My wife has had a major spinal operation which means that she struggles with the pot holes and other imperfections in the road. Which car would best dampen these effects and give her a ride that stands a chance of being comfortable?
Choosing a car with the most comfortable ride very much depends on your budget, but we would suggest looking at cars such as the Skoda Superb and Kodiaq, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Land Rover Discovery and Volvo S90, all of which offer comfortable seats with a smooth ride. We would also recommend looking for cars with smaller rather than larger alloy wheels as this will contribute to the ride quality.

What's a suitable car for a retired couple?
We are in our mid 60s and retired but active and we are looking to reduce our motoring costs. We currently drive a 14 year old Nissan Qashqai 2.0 litre petrol, automatic. My wife likes the higher driving position but we would like a reasonable small 4/5 door hatchback for us to pootle around and make several annual motorway journeys to our scattered family. We have a budget of about £4000 - £7000. Can you recommend anything?
A Honda Jazz sounds ideal - it's a versatile little car with a higher seating position than a regular small hatchback. It should be a very reliable and cheap-to-run choice. Look for one with the CVT automatic gearbox rather than the i-Shift automated manual gearbox sold between 2008 and 2011.
