What's my Volkswagen Urban Fox worth, and what could I replace it with?

I have a 2007 (07) 1.2 Volkswagen Urban Fox. I have had the car from new and have recently begun to drive around 25,000 per annum. Given my current mileage and my desire for a slightly higher powered vehicle, I am now considering trading in my Urban Fox. I would value your advice as to whether it is worth driving the car for another year or so prior to purchasing a new vehicle. My key concern is to obtain the best price for my vehicle. If you do advise selling my car now, what would you recommend as a replacement? I have a budget of £10,000 including my car.

With 40,000 miles your car currently trade books at a high £3400. I'd say more realistically £3000. I'd go for a Mazda 2 1.3TS2 (specifically that model), currently at big discounts because a facelift is due around October/November.
