I want to buy an old Nissan Sunny but is the clutch on the way out?

I'm thinking about buying a 1993 Nissan Sunny 1.4 with very low miles of 39,000. It drives well, but the clutch seems a bit high on the biting point. Is the clutch on its way out? Also is the motor cam belt or chain drive?

It probably is on the way out. I can't remember if a Sunny this old was belt or chain. I think belt. Just don't pay any more for it than you can afford to throw away. It's a £200 car, tops.
