Should I change my 2011 Ford Focus 1.6 for a 2012 Audi A3?

I'm thinking about changing my 2011 Ford Focus 1.6 (45,000 miles) for a 2012 Audi A3. Is this a good idea?

Gains you more status, and not a bad idea to get out of a 2011 Focus that has not been particularly reliable. A 2012 Audi A3 might be one of two cars: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/audi/a3-2008/ or www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/audi/a3-2012/
