How do I ensure I get the latest Pirelli runflats for my BMW 118i?

My BMW 118d is due for new Pirelli runflats soon. How can I tell if the new ones I buy are the latest version with improved ride characteristics?

The latest generation are RFT3s, but as far as I can gather only Dunlops are approved for BMW. There seems to have been a problem with Bridgestones.

Great to drive and superbly built. Wide choice of models, improved from 2007 with Efficient Dynamics. 118d is super economical.
