What is the better SUV, Renault Kadjar or Mazda CX5?

We have £15,000 to spend on a fuel efficient, reliable SUV. It's got to last 7-10 years and be cheap to run and service. Where would you put your money, a Mazda CX-5 or a Renault Kadjar?

The Mazda will be older but has excellent handling for an SUV. Have had some phantom DPF regeneration issues, but I'm not sure how much of this I believe. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/mazda/cx-5-2012/ It also uses a bit more fuel but bigger 2.2 chain cam engine v/s the Renault 1.5 belt cam (or 1.6 chain cam).
