What are my rights in returning a damaged car I recently bought?

I bought an 8 month old BMW 1 Series from a local car dealer in November 2016. There have been a few clues as to its history such as ill fitting door trims, paint drops on the off side doors and glass fragments on two inside window rubber trims. I took a good look at it over the weekend and have concluded the car has had a new off side wing mirror, driver's door and passenger door with the rear quarter being re sprayed. I've contacted the company but the owner is on holiday and I have emailed him this information and asked him to get back to me. What would be my rights in returning the car for a partial refund or exchange? I am also concerned that his accident will damage its value, invalidate its paint warranty and wasn't disclosed to me at the time of purchase.

Under the 2008 CPRs it was an offence for him not to have made you aware of the faults. A few pages down this: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
