Should I buy a Ford Mondeo 2.5 V6?

I have found a 2006 Ford Mondeo estate 2.5 V6 automatic for sale with only 36,000 miles on the clock. It looks immaculate and the mileage is warranted. It's on for £3995. Is this a good price?

That was a lovely car in its day and this one is asking an appropriate price for a top condition car that could eventually start to appreciate. Test of one here: What to watch out for here:

The only fly in the ointment is the road tax, which will be sky high due to the emissions of the 2.5-litre V6 petrol.
