Missing service history - should I demand a discount?

I bought a 2008 Honda CR-V last week. The dealer assured us it has a full service history. It now transpires there is no service history. The garage want us to return the car and refund in full. However we like the car. Is it reasonable to ask for a discount on the price we paid? If so, what discount would you suggest?

Yes, it's reasonable. Ask for £1,000 discount and see how you get on. They might settle for that, or argue it to £500, but they would rather not have to take the car back.
