Change in emissions rating of Volkswagen cars?

I read with interest your articles on the current dreadful situation that Volkswagen finds itself in and the upset to owners.

If one walks into a Volkswagen Group dealer or an independent would one find the specification of the affected vehicles amended to show the real emissions and mpg data once the "cheat" software has been removed ?

Eventually, yes. But this process will take at least until the end of 2016 to accomplish. In truth it won't make much difference to VWG cars in Europe, and all of VWG's latest range of EA288 EU6 diesels come in much lower than the EC EU6 NOx limit of 0.08g/km
