Volkswagen emissions scandal: are diesel owners going to be hammered?

If diesel residuals are now hammered, what does that mean for the car sales industry as a whole, given so many trade-ins will be worthless?

That hasn't happened. But if it does it will be particularly bad news for the leasing fleets which are mostly diesel. Sell your shares in them.
