Why doesn't my Fiat Doblo have an adjustable steering column?

I purchased an ex-demonstrator 2009 Fiat Doblo Dynamic Multijet earlier this year from a Fiat main dealer, expecting it to have the rake and reach steering column adjustment, but it has only the rake movement. I removed the ashtray as you have previously suggested to check the date shown, which is 6/07. I queried the vehicle's year with the salesman to be told this was correct and this model does not have reach adjustment. Your comments would be appreciated.

It does not have rake and reach. Specifications can change. You can further check the build date on the seatbelt tags.
