Need a small car but dislike the new Fiesta - any recommendations?

My husband and I have had several Ford Fiestas over the years and are now ready to change our present one which is nine years old. However, we don’t like the new design with the sloping back and small rear window.

Could you advise us, please, on a different make which has the reliability of the Fiesta plus low maintenance costs?

We are both in our seventies and don’t require a large car. We would also appreciate a quiet one if possible, perhaps one or two years old.

Look at a Citroen DS4 1.2 Puretech. Very smart with good glass area that makes it easy to reverse park.
