Can you recommend a car with easy access and a smooth ride?

I have £10,000 and a trade in value for a 2004 Rover 75. I am looking for a reliable car with easy access and a smooth ride (I have a bad back). I do about 10,000 miles per year.

I have been looking at the Citroen Picasso Cactus C4 petrol but I would appreciate alternatives. Also, what should I expect for my Rover in part exchange?

The C4 Cactus 1.2 Puretech 110 has decent ride on 205/55R16 tyres; less good on bigger wheels with lower profile tyres. I'd also look at a Peugeot 308 1.2 Puretech 130 Active that comes very well equipped and discounts down to around £16,000. Try www.drivethedeal.com

I think you might do better trying to sell the Rover privately because these are on their way to becoming modern classics. In the range £1,250 - £2,000: www.honestjohn.co.uk/used-prices/Rover/75/2004/?q=...r
